Idhu Namme Oru Kedai · This is our shop

Six days of hands-on training in Ipoh, then 20 days of mentored implementation. Malaysian Indian entrepreneurs built the skills to market and sell online.

Why INOK

INOK stands for Idhu Namme Oru Kedai, Tamil for "this is our shop". Every participant came with a business of their own, and every lesson was about growing it.

Small businesses in the Malaysian Indian community often have strong products but little time or support to take them online. INOK was designed to change that: practical digital-marketing skills, taught in person, then applied to each participant's own business with a mentor alongside.

Over six days in Ipoh, participants worked through strategy, content, advertising, AI tools and marketplace selling with practitioners who run these campaigns for a living. They then spent 20 days putting it to work online, with a mentor checking in along the way.

The 2024 Program Pensijilan Digital Marketing Strategist was delivered by GET Academy with funding from MITRA, the Malaysian Indian Community Transformation Unit, and certified by SEGi College Subang Jaya, GET Academy's strategic educational partner within SEGi University & Colleges.
